Ha sido genial poder compartir casa con tantos animales, nos vamos enamorados de Kimbo, Úrsula, Pepe... 10/10.Posted on CarolinaTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Our experience at the Green House Tambopata was incredible because the excursion was amazing. Our room can indeed be a bit cleaner and in better condition. But overall it is a very special location to sleep hearing the entire nature. Literally, you can see a snake outside your room. So I will definitely say that we enjoy it a lot. Mirko and Sergio our guide were amazing, Mirko is a really smart person who is in love with nature and he is transmitting that to everyone. His passion for animals and nature is incredible.Posted on Federico MambelliTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I booked the 3-day tour with Charlie and got greeted by his driver at the bus station after a long journey, who dropped me at a cafe while waiting for the rest of the group and then went on to my 3-day 2-night trip to the jungle. Great logistics and really good activities (forest walk, night walk, Sandoval lake, monkey island etc). You meet different people every day since they run the 3 days of activities in a rolling cycle. Sergio and Lucho were mazing guides! Very knowledgeable. Room was clean and spacious, great rest. Food was really good, sometimes small portions but was able to ask for more in some occasions. Overall great stay, a bit on the pricey side but worth it if you're looking for a non-touristy stay, responsible tourism and a great accommodation and guide. 100% recommended.Posted on Amy MacKenzieTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. This was a true highlight of our trip to Peru for our honeymoon! The staff and guides around the jungle were amazing, very friendly and filled with knowledge to pass on about the local wildlife, culture, flaura and fauna! All the excursions that were planned were great value, incredibly interesting and well organised. From seeing monkeys up close to sloths in the distance, caimens at arms reach to tarantulas as close as you dare, fishing for piranhas and visiting local indigenous people - everything was incredible. A particular shout out to Mirco who was our guide for almost everything and went out of his way to show us the very best of the jungle! We were very impressed with the food that was served throughout. Being in the jungle we had fairly low expectations, but it was all delicious and with good portions. They were also very accommodating with our dietary requirements of no red meat and no dairy which was much appreciated. The only downside of this trip is the amount of privacy of the accomodation, HOWEVER, this was very much known and expected from the description and so it wasn't an issue. It depends of your stance on this and how much you value comfort of the accomodation, but I would argue that having the basic accomodation is a positive for the full experience. It means that you can fall asleep listening to the sounds of the jungle, it means everyone spends lots of time in the communal areas chatting away and getting to know others guests, and it makes the experience feel much more authentic. Although the showers don't have hot water, this isn't really an issue as the temperature is so hot that a cold shower is really what you need after a day full of excursions. It just meant we shifted our schedule around to showering before dinner each day rather than first thing in the morning. They are also building new accommodation on site which looks really great. Overall, I couldn't recommend this experience more and it is great value for money! I really hope to see Green House Tambopata continue to thrive and wish all the very best to all the wonderful people who work there.Posted on George BoultonTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Amazing experience, we did the 4 days 3 nights with tours. Sergio and the guides were great. One of the best experiences I've had travelling, great range of activities and decent food includedPosted on Amy STrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Our stay at Green House Tambopata was exceptional and I could not recommend them more! Charlie, Sergio and his team were so friendly, knowledgeable and attentive. They picked us up at the airport and dropped us off again at the end. Everyone spoke good English. The food was really good and was different each day! The chef worked so hard and catered for a lot of dietary requirements. Drinking water was provided. The jungle lodge is right on the river, and there is a swimming pool, hammocks and plenty of seating to enjoy the views. They have a friendly guard dog and macaws on site. The rooms are basic but comfortable and spacious- no surprise for being on the jungle! There was even reliable WiFi on site. The activities were very well organised and there was a wide range included, including Sandoval lake, Lake Yucumama , Monkey Island , sunset trips and night walks. We were lucky enough to see a lot of animals such as a sloth , monkeys, caimans, snakes and a capybara.Posted on Alessandra MesiaTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Posted on Lucie MAGNINTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Lucie.Posted on Vishnu SureshTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Great place to be one with nature in the Amazon. Comms can be a bit tricky but the excursions and food were amazing.
